Motorized Pallet Truck
A Motorized Pallet Truck normally goes by other names such as: Walkie-Rider, Rider or Walkie. These pieces of equipment are essentially a motorized version of a pallet jack. They come in both "Rider" versions as well as "Walkie" models.
The walkie model as the name implies, is made to enable the operator to walk alongside the machine while they lift and move loads. The operator stands on a small platform on the Rider model. The rider models are great for frequent moving of cargo over extended distances in warehouses and manufacturing operations. They are extremely fast and maneuverable.
It is important to remember that there is no safety cage on this model and hence, it is not recommended to transport tall or unstable loads using these machines. A rider might be the right answer if you are looking for an inexpensive way of moving loads from point A to point B. If though, you should move heavy loads short distances, and prefer to utilize a more employee-friendly unit instead of a pallet jack, the walkie model might be the best option.
Order Selector
An Order Selector also goes by the name of Order picker. This machine is specially made for manual handling of less-than-pallet-load quantities in racking. There are fixed forks attached to a platform in the Man-up design. This platform elevates both the operator and the load with a purpose to facilitate manual loading and unloading from racking areas.
Normally, the order selector is a very narrow aisle vehicle that can work in smaller aisles. They are very useful pieces of equipment in cycle counting situations as well as during physical inventories. Order selectors are available in lift heights up to 40 feet high, although models which range in the 20 to 30 foot range are much more common.

Power
There are many types of forklifts which are powered by propane gas. Forklifts which use propane are simple to refill. The gas is stored inside a pressurized tank on the truck's rear. Size
On the back of the forklift is a counterbalance, which allows the forklift to lift really heavy things. The counterbalance gives balance so that the machinery would not tip over while lifting and transporting heavy loads. Forklifts are rated according to their load capacity. A small lift truck that could lift 1800 kilograms weighs around 4000 kilograms, which is...

Does Cold Temperature Really Affect the Level Gauge on a Propane Tank?
Similar to most other types of materials, propane is affected by cold temperatures. As the temperature goes down, the propane gas contracts. That reduced level of gas in the tank is reflected by the gauge which reflects the level on the tank. Often, this occurs whenever a homeowner...
